| Contingency Workshop The importance of a well defined and useable Contingency Plan cannot be over emphasised. Incidents can and do occur, and a company must be ready to act effectively and efficiently when the need arises. Staff must be aware
of the Contingency Plan and of the role they have to play. To ensure that the Contingency Plan is effective, all procedures and systems allocated for use in an emergency must be exercised. Any faults or shortcomings in the system or procedures must be identified and remedied. AIMS The aim of the workshop is to provide operational Managers
and Staff with detailed knowledge and experience of a Contingency procedure and
the importance of establishing the correct flow of information during a
Contingency. OBJECTIVES On completion of the workshop, managers and staff will:
