Internal Audits (Port Facility)

The ISPS Code requires that all Port Facility Security Plans (PFSP) are internally audited. The Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) is required to monitor and normally provides administration duties and is therefore cannot be considered "independent".

KNIGHTSMART LIMITED can provide two solutions to this problem:

1. KNIGHTSMART LIMITED can undertake the required independent Internal Audits effectively and economically to ensure that you see the whole picture of what is taking place, using either the ISPS Code or the company's PFSP as the benchmark of the audit and providing complete details of Nonconformities (if any) and Audit Report.

2. KNIGHTSMART LIMITED can provide a 2-day Internal Audit Course specifically related to the ISPS Code for additional members of your senior personnel so the company can undertake its own "independent" audits. The training will cover the relevant audit aspects and objective evidence of the ISPS Code as well as providing a practical workshop approach with case studies and role play. If necessary KNIGHTSMART LIMITED will also act as mentor during an initial audit.
